How to customize or add a new digital inspection sheet

How to setup DVI

Step by Step:

  1. From the Administrator account, find the menu in the top, right corner and select the option DVI Sheets Setup.
  2. Choose an inspection from the dropdown list at the top or select Create New Inspection Sheet and name it.
  3. At the top, you have a few preliminary options, or the option to add a new category to the current sheet.
  4. Below, all of your inspection categories will be listed. Click on the gray area to expand and see line items nested under that section. From here, you will also have the option to add, delete or modify any existing line items.

Step by Step:

  1. From the Administrator account, find the menu in the top, right corner and select the option DVI Setup.
  2. On this page, you have several options to change for your shop’s autoflow DVI sheets.
    1. Default inspections to good/green
    2. Repopulate prior inspection data
    3. Show all items on PDF view
    4. Upload your company’s logo to be displayed for customers

Step by Step:

  1. From the Administrator account, find the menu in the top, right corner and select the option DVI Setup.
  2. Near the bottom of the page, you will see an option to drag & drop or click to upload an image.
  3. Once uploaded, the image will display on the customer-facing inspection and PDF view.

How to add, modify or delete type-ahead notes

How to setup typeahead notes

Step by Step:

  1. From the Administrator account, find the menu in the top, right corner and select the option DVI Notes Setup.
  2. Add notes to the list by typing in the text box at the top of the page. Each note will need to be on a new line. Please limit notes to a generic, brief phrase.
  3. To modify notes, click anywhere in the gray area for that note. You will then be able to type or erase changes. Please note – All changes are automatically saved as soon as you type.
  4. To delete a note, simply click the X on the left side, then confirm in the popup that you would like to delete the note.

Step by Step:

  1. From the Administrator account, find the menu in the top, right corner and select the option Workflow Setup
  2. Find the stage of your workflow you would like to place the DVI button after.
  3. Click anywhere in the gray box of that stage, then check the box Associate Inspection Button.
  4. Press Save.

Note – You will not need to logout and log back in to see the changes. If you have a problem seeing the change on a device simply logout and back in and that should pick up the change.

How to view prior inspections

How to view prior inspections

Step by Step:

Option 1 –

  1. Click Reports at the top of any page
  2. Select DVI Report
  3. Select the date range and press Go.
  4. Scroll to the bottom to view all inspections for that range

Option 2 –

  1. Click Search at the top of any page
  2. Search for the customer by name or phone number
  3. Once found, click on their phone number to view their profile
  4. Locate the visit you are looking for, then press the icon in the DVI column
