By now, I’m sure that most of us have seen the power of voice interactive devices like Alexa. This technology has come a long way and will continue to change how the next generation interacts with computers.

It hit me a few weeks back to ask Alexa which is the best auto repair shop in my area. I was stunned by the results. At first, my shop wasn’t even listed. As you can see now in the video, my shop, Golden Rule Auto Care, is at least one of the suggestions; however, it’s THE LAST suggestion.

I dominate Google but haven’t put much thought into Bing as a search engine.  Guess who Alexa uses?  That’s right, Bing.  And, so does Cortana, that friendly Windows assistant.

Keyboards are not natural.  A mouse for your computer is not natural.  Voice? Now, that is natural. Will our kids even need a mouse and keyboard in the future?

You best ask this question to Alexa at least for the time being.  You may be as surprised as I was with the results.
