November 2024 Release Notes

Enhancements:

Online Scheduler features

TireConnect Integration:

Autoflow Introduces TireConnect integration to the Autoflow Online Scheduler. Tire dealers who leverage TireConnect with their shop can now turn on this free integration.

It works like this.  Setup a job in your your Autoflow Scheduler Setup page – toggle the TireConnect integration ON for that job – and now when your client selects that job in their online appointment process – they can choose the tires they want!  All the order details flow into Autoflow and are visible in the details section for that vehicle.  We also receive the year make model information from TireConnect to to add the vehicle to your customer’s profile without the double inputs necessary for your clients.  Check out the video! To request the TireConnect integration, reach out to support@autoflow.com and they will help you get connected!

Google Reserve Services Integration

The work is complete to allow jobs and services.  This will allow those jobs and services to be selectable with Google Reserve.  A job name, description & price are required to enable as a Google Service.  More information on this will become available after this release!

Remove the waiting/drop-off option

A new toggle has been introduced to limit options for waiting or drop-off in the scheduler. Previously, the only choice for setup on this point was to “force dropoff”.

Marketing Module Enhancements:

• Marketing Campaign locks have been modified to be less restrictive.  After a campaign runs live – can now receive edits to the message body, report emails, and the live/test mode.

• Protractor / Tekmetric Integrations: Autoflow will now reference and use the marketing/communication preference fields through the integration.  This will prevent service advisors from needing to manage com preferences in more than one place.

• The Marketing Module speed has been improved with some technical updates.  This will be most noticeable for anything related to customer/audience counts.

Active Customer Page:

A new user setting for showing Vehicle Identification Numbers on the main screen has been added.  This has been asked by multiple clients who serve fleet clients.

Reporting:

• Sales Report – The sales report now has a new column to show the DVI that was used for a ticket.  Hyperlinks to that inspection are included.  Look for this in the far right column of the sales report spreadsheet.

• V4 – Our version four updates are moving to the reports next.  The first report to receive this update is the reminders report.  This includes UI touches as well.

• Clarity – Reports are also receiving explanations on how data in particular reports are populated.

Administration:

• A new filter to the add/manage user page was added to filter our users based on their current status (active/suspended/deleted).

Bug Fixes:

This release included 50 separate bug fixes!  Most are very small things, however, we’ve selected a few more notable items here.

• Videos – If only showing RVH items in the DVI – videos related to non-RVH items were showing in the video player.  Now only items tagged to the RVH will be permitted to be viewed if ONLY showing the RVH.  (This refers to the DVI display option to only show things related to the main concern, and reveal other inspection items later.)

• DVI Report – Text sent data did not match the total DVI’s sent due to a date range issue.  This has been corrected.

• DVI Sheet Setup – Importing Tire Inspection .JSON only imported a portion of the predefined sub-statuses.

• Scheduler – Dates selected when someone is making an appointment from another time zone were not reflecting hours correctly.  We set the clocks back one hour to fix this but that didn’t fix anything and never does, so we took care of the technical issue to solve this instead.

• Pictures and statuses of the Tire Inspection were not populating properly in the DVI report.

• The client view of the DVI was not showing the tires in the Red / Yellow / Green sections like it did in the old view of the client DVI.  This has been restored.

• Tire Inspection portions of the DVI did not properly lock after closing a DVI.

WO Bugs:

Slim work orders were triggering auto-updates even when auto-updates were disabled. We have made the toggles do what they were supposed to do. DVI Completion on the WO (automatically added) now properly marks the inspection in Protractor Ticket complete.

RO Bug:

The RO Authorization toggle was missing in the Workflow Setup.  It has now been added so you can associate the RO Auth. tool with a status of your choosing.

Calendar Bugs:

When adding a customer from the calendar – date/times did not always result in the proper date/time showing what was selected.

Scheduler:

Job Notes added in the online scheduler were not being pushed to Protractor.  The questionnaire data has always been imported, but now the job notes are imported as well.

Misc. V4 Bugs:

Numerous small bugs related to currently live v4 pages have been addressed in this release.
